About Me

  • I am a machine learning engineer at Wish, working on the recommendation and personalization for the Wish Clip (video shopping platform), the homepage feed, related product feed, ad product feed and other feeds. My works include research, modeling training, validation, deployment and system maintenance.
  • My research interests include 1). information retrieval, recommender system, ecommerce personalization 2). NLP applications: question answering, semantic parsing, 3) data driven machine learning and transfer learning.
  • I got my Master of Mathematics (Computer Science) degree (Thesis-based) at the University of Waterloo. I was fortunated to be supervised by Jimmy Lin at the Data System group and work with him for two years.
  • I got my B.S. degree in computer science and technology at Zhejiang University. I also worked as a research assistant with Professor Lu Wei in the winter of 2017 (actually there is no winter in Singapore).

  • 2018-05 to 2019-05: I did a internship in RSVP.ai, where I spent much time on the coreference resolution task, the customer complaint escalation task and the open domain question answering task.
